It comes with flour all over the counter before the bread rises. 

Paint streaked across your arms before the masterpiece appears…

A complete breakdown inside the chrysalis before the wings even stand a chance.

And October? October is when the chrysalis finally tears open. It’s raw, it’s wild, it’s that first gasp of air after being under too long. The invitation isn’t to push harder, it’s to trust the fucking process.

But here’s the thing:

October is a 1 energy month, which matters because 2026 is a 1 energy year. Translation? This month is basically a cosmic trailer for the movie that’s about to be your life.

And because October is when the veil is thinnest, the sparks and synchronicities you’re noticing hit harder. They’re not background noise, they’re front-row clues.

Let me tell you about the omen that showed up for me this fall.

I was at my retreat house, deep in my own cocooning, and every night a bat appeared. Not once, not twice, but several nights in a row. Just hanging there. Watching. Waiting.

Now, if you know me, you know I don’t take that lightly. I don’t believe in coincidence. That bat was medicine.

In spiritual terms, bat energy is all about shadow work, transformation, intuition, and rebirth. It’s the death–rebirth washing cycle made visible. And it kept showing up right at the moment when I was speaking about resurrection, right when I was naming this quarter a full-on death–rebirth cycle.

Here’s what I took from it:

Something has to die so something new can be reborn. Period.

That bat was reminding me, and maybe it’s reminding you too, that the dark isn’t to be feared. The cave, the cocoon, the pressure? It’s not punishment. It’s incubation. It’s where the new structure, the new ideas, the new you are forming.

When it’s time, you don’t crawl out of that cave the same. You fly the fuck out of it.

In September, authenticity was the currency. In October, synchronicities are the data points.

Feathers on your doorstep. 444 on the clock. A dream that feels more real than waking life. These are not random. They’re evidence of flow, proof you’re in alignment.
